Robert is Reiki Master level 3 certified by Bonnie Ricica, and he hosts several Reiki shares in McHenry county. Robert studied the Kabbalah with the late Jim Lebick in the 1990’s. He also spent time in the Tuba City, Arizona Navajo reservation studying to be a medicine man with the late Robert Johnson. While Robert was at Tuba City, the experience left him with a profound impact on his life. That experience changed the way Robert sees this world and why he paints and does Reiki.
He is the past teacher of the Circle of Energy classes and workshops at Evolve in Crystal Lake from 2009-2011.
Robert is an abstract energy artist, and participates in art fairs, shows and galleries in the Northern suburbs.
“I feel that all things are energy, and it is possible to put energy and intent into whatever medium. What inspires me is the beauty in mystery. The energy I put into my work are like dreamscapes, they take you somewhere you’ve never been. I like the vivid use of color, and creating spaces that make you feel something.”
His work is described as a journey into a world of energy and dreams which he refers to as Dreamsword Art. Robert feels like he’s got one foot in this world holding a paintbrush and one in the other holding a dream sword cutting through the symbolism of his dreams. The subjects of Roberts’ artwork tend to relate to metaphysical or esoteric themes, but Robert’s prefers to work with whatever comes out of his dreams
